PRODUCTION DATA
If the input is configured for bipolar mode, the conversion data are coded in 2's-complement format, MSB (sign bit) first, to represent positive and negative signals over the range of –VREF to VREF. If the input is configured for unipolar mode, the conversion data are coded in straight-binary format to represent only positive signals over the range of 0 V to VREF. Table 8-14 and Table 8-15 show the output data format for bipolar and unipolar input modes. The conversion data are clipped to positive and negative full-scale code values when the input signal exceeds the respective positive and negative full-scale signal range.
