AVDD2 is with respect to AVSS and powers the modulator core. AVDD2 can be connected to AVDD1 to simplify the required supply voltages, or AVDD2 can be operated by a lower supply voltage to minimize device power consumption. Use a combination of 1-µF and 0.1-µF bypass capacitors across the AVDD2 to AVSS supply pins.
Table 8-8 shows examples of AVDD1, AVSS, and AVDD2 power-supply configurations.
