8.4.1 Power-Up and Reset

The ADS1219 is reset in one of three ways: either by a power-on reset, by the RESET pin, or by a RESET command.

When a reset occurs, the configuration register resets to the default values and the device enters a low-power state. The device then waits for the START/SYNC command to enter conversion mode; see the I2C Timing Requirements table for reset timing information.
