8.5.1.5 Data Ready (DRDY)

DRDY is an active-low output that indicates conversion data are ready. DRDY is active regardless of the state of CS. DRDY is driven high on the first falling edge of SCLK, regardless if data is being read or a command is input. As shown in Figure 8-22, if data are not retrieved, DRDY pulses high for eight fCLK periods.
