9.3.6 ADC3y

The primary purpose of ADC3A and ADC3B is to redundantly measure battery pack voltage using external high-voltage resistor dividers simultaneously with the battery current of ADC1A and ADC1B. However any other signal measurements can be implemented with ADC3y as well.

ADC3y leverages the same circuit implementations for the input multiplexer, ΔΣ-modulator, digital filter and calibration function as ADC1y. Please refer to the respective ADC1y sections for details. The PGA however leverages the circuit implementation of ADC2y because ADC3y is also primarily meant for voltage measurements.
