9.5.1 SPI Interface

The SPI-compatible serial interface consists of four signals: CS, SCLK, DIN, and DOUT. The interface is used to read conversion data, read and write registers, and control the ADS131E08S operation. The DRDY output is used as a status signal to indicate when ADC data are ready for readback. DRDY goes low when new data are available.
