PRODUCTION DATA
The AMC1300B-Q1 is ideally suited for shunt-based current sensing applications where accurate current monitoring is required in the presence of high common-mode voltages.
Figure 8-1 shows the AMC1300B-Q1 in a typical application. The load current flowing through an external shunt resistor RSHUNT produces a voltage drop that is sensed by the AMC1300B-Q1. The AMC1300B-Q1 digitizes the analog input signal on the high-side, transfers the data across the isolation barrier to the low-side, reconstructs the analog signal, and presents that signal as a differential voltage on the output pins.
The differential input, differential output, and the high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of the AMC1300B-Q1 ensure reliable and accurate operation even in high-noise environments.
