7.4.4 Fault Mode

The fault conditions are categorized into recoverable and nonrecoverable as follows:

  • Recoverable(STAT1 = LOW, STAT2 = HIGH), from which the device should automatically recover once the fault condition is removed:
    • VIN OVP
    • BAT OVP
    • TS HOT
    • TS COLD
  • Nonrecoverable(STAT1 = LOW, STAT2 = HIGH), requiring CE pin or input supply toggle to resume operation:
    • BAT OCP
    • ISET pin short detected
    • VSET pin short/open detected
    • CHM_TMR pin short/open detected
