7.3.4.1 Input Overvoltage Protection (VIN OVP)

If the voltage at the IN pin exceeds VIN_OV, the device turns off, the safety timer suspends counting, and the device enters Standby mode. Once the IN voltage recovers to a normal level, the charge cycle and the safety timer automatically resume operation.
