8.3.2.1 Battery Charging Profile

The device charges the battery in four phases: battery short, preconditioning, constant current, constant voltage. The device charges battery based on charge voltage set by VSET pin and charge current set by ICHG pin as well as actual battery voltage. The battery charging profile is shown in Figure 8-1. The battery short current is provided by internal linear regulator.
