The device terminates a charge cycle when the battery voltage is above recharge threshold and the charge current is below termination current. After a charging cycle is completed, the converter stops swicthing, charge is terminated and the system load is powered from battery. Termination is temporarily disabled when the charger device is in input current regulation or thermal regulation mode and the charging safety timer is counted at half the clock rate. The charge termination current is 10% of set fast charge current if RICHG < RICHG_HIGH. The termination current is clamped at 63mA if RICHG > RICHG_HIGH.
