7.3.6 Lifetime Data Collection

The BQ35100 device can be enabled by writing to Control() 0x002E [LT_EN] to gather data regarding the primary battery and store it to data flash.

The following data is collected in RAM and only written to DF when the host sends the End command to the device:

  • Max and Min Cell Voltage
  • Max and Min Discharge Current
  • Max and Min Temperature
