8.2 Typical Application

A common application when using a DMD and a DLPC3420 is for creating a pico projector that can be used as an accessory to a smartphone, tablet, or a laptop. The DLPC3420 in the pico projector receives images from a multimedia front end within the product as shown in Figure 8-1.
