7.3.3 External Power MOSFET Selection

The DLPA4000 requires five external N-type Power MOSFETs for proper operation. Two Power MOSFETs are required for the illumination buck converter section (FETs LEXT and MEXTFigure 22) and three power MOSFETs are required for the LED selection switches (FETs PEXT, QEXT and REXT in Figure 22). This section discusses the selection criteria for these MOSFETs.
