8.2 Typical Application

A common application combines the DLPA4000 with the 0.65 WXGA DMD (DLP650LE) or a 0.65 1080P DMD (DLP650NE) and a DLPC4422 controller to create a high resolution, LED projector. The DLPC4422 in the projector typically receives images from a PC or video player using HDMI or VGA analog as shown in Figure 21. Card readers and Wi-Fi can receive images when the application includes the appropriate peripheral components. The DLPA4000 sequences the power-supply and controls the RGB LED currents in this application.
