8.1 Application Information

DLPC3470 display and light controller with DLP2010LC DMD enables high accuracy and very small form factor 3D Depth sensing products. This section describes typical 3D depth sensor DLP systems using both external and internal pattern streaming modes. The DMDs are spatial light modulators which reflect incoming light from an illumination source to one of two directions, with the primary direction being into projection or collection optics. The optical architecture of the system and the format of the image digital data coming into the DLPC3470 are what primarily determine the application requirements.
