Idle mode

In Idle mode, the current consumption of the device can reach the limits given by parameters IVDD_IDLE and IVM_IDLE, or by parameter IIDLE for the whole device.

  • The internal voltage regulator is working in this mode.

  • Diagnosis functions are not available.

  • The output channels are switched OFF, independently from the supply voltages.

  • When VDD is available, the SPI registers are working and SPI communication is possible.

  • In Idle mode the ERRx bits are not cleared for functional safety reasons.
