8.3.1.2 Device Hardware Interface

The DRV8328 utilize a hardware interface to configure different device settings. These hardware configurable inputs are DT and VDSLVL. General fault information is reported on the nFAULT pin.

  • The DT pin configures the gate drive dead time. The dead time can adjusted by changing the resistor value from the DT pin to GND.
  • The VDSLVL pin configures the voltage threshold of the VDS overcurrent monitors. The voltage applied to the VDSLVL pin is directly used as reference for the VDS comparator
