8.3.1.2 Transmit Subsystem

The IWR1843AOP transmit subsystem consists of three parallel transmit chains, each with independent phase and amplitude control. All three transmitters can be used simultaneously. For IWR1843AOP, additional phase shifters are associated with Tx channels, and these can programmed on a per chirp basis.

Each transmit chain can deliver a maximum of 16 dBm EIRP. The transmit chains also support programmable backoff for system optimization.

Figure 8-2 describes the transmit subsystem.
