8.2.1.1 Design Requirements

The schematic diagram of a 20-A buck regulator is given in Figure 41 and its BOM is listed in Table 1. In this example, the target full-load efficiency is 88% at 12-V input voltage. Output voltage is adjusted simply by changing RFB2. The free-running switching frequency is set to 300 kHz by resistor RFADJ. The output voltage soft-start time is 10 ms.
