For the cases where the RDRV pin is continuously monitored (see Drive-Strength Adjustment), the LMG342xR030 protects against dangerously slow turn-on times by continuously monitoring RDVR for a high impedance above the RRDRV recommended operating condition range. The GaN FET is held off and The FAULT pin asserts when a high-impedance RDRV pin is detected. Normal operation resumes and the FAULT pin de-asserts when a high-impedance RDRV pin is no longer detected.
