8.1.2 LMH1208 and LMH1228 Compatibility

The LMH1208 is pin-compatible with the LMH1228 (12G UHD-SDI Dual Output Cable Driver with Integrated Reclocker) when LMH1208 RSV_L pin is tied to 2.5 V. This pin compatibility allows users to upgrade easily to the LMH1228. See Figure 18 for details.
