This pin can be configured in 4 possible ways:

  1. 1 kΩ to VDD: This puts the part in SPI mode
  2. Float (Default): Reserved
  3. 20 kΩ to GND: Reserved
  4. 1 kΩ to GND: This puts the part in SMBus mode
