8.4.4 SYNC Pin

If the SYNC pin is connected to a host device (for example, FPGA, CPLD, CPU) with noisy I/O power rails, use small series resistor and shunt capacitor (CNR) as shown in Figure 8-13. An external low-pass filter can prevent noise on the SYNC input from coupling unwanted spurious content to nearby internal analog circuitry.
