8.2.2.8 Replacing Non Sync Converter

The LMR54410 can also be used to replace asynchronous converters, which need a rectifying diode in the application circuit. The design works fine with or without a rectifying diode connected to the switch node of the LMR54410 as shown in Figure 8-2.
