8.1 Application Information

The LMZ21701 is a step down DC-to-DC converter. It is used to convert higher DC voltage to a regulated lower DC voltage with maximum load current of 1 A. The following design procedure can be used to select components for the LMZ21701. Alternatively, the WEBENCH® software can be used to select from a large database of components, run electrical simulations, and optimize the design for specific performance.
