PRODUCTION DATA.
The minimum required and maximum output capacitance of the LMZ34202 is a function of the output voltage as shown in Table 6. Additionally, the output voltage will determine the Versa-Comp configuration (see VERSA-COMP Pin Configurations), which is also included in Table 6. The capacitance values listed in Table 6 are the specified capacitance values. The effects of DC bias and temperature variation must be considered when using ceramic capacitance. For ceramic capacitors, package size, voltage rating, and dielectric material will contribute to differences between the specified value and the actual effective value of the capacitance. COUT(min) must be comprised of ceramic type capacitors. Additional capacitance, not exceeding COUT(max), may be ceramic type or low-ESR polymer type. See Table 7 for a preferred list of output capacitors by vendor.
