8.2.3.8 Output Capacitors

The maximum allowable output capacitance for a 5-V output is 350 μF of capacitance. At least 64 µF of capacitance must be ceramic type. For this design, 3× 100-μF, X5R dielectric ceramic capacitors rated for 10 V are used for the output capacitors.
