8.2.2.3 Feedforward Capacitor (CFF)

TI recommends placing an external feedforward capacitor, CFF in parallel with the top resistor divider, RFBT for optimum transient performance. The value for CFF can be calculated using Equation 2 or selected from Table 7-1. The recommended CFF value for 5-V application is 100 pF.
