8.2.2.5 Feed-Forward Capacitor (CFF)

For typical applications, an external feed-forward capacitor, CFF is not required. Applications requiring optimum transient performance can benefit from placing a CFF capacitor in parallel with the top resistor divider, RFBT. The value for CFF can be calculated using Equation 2. The recommended CFF value for 5-V application is 100 pF.
