The device functional modes are shown in Figure 7-16.
- Initialization: The
device enters into Initialization when Vcc goes
down to UVLO voltage. In this mode, all the
registers are reset. Entry can also be from any
state.
- Normal: The device
enters the normal mode when Vcc is higher than
UVLO threshold. The display process is shown as
below in normal mode.
- Power saving: The
device automatically enters and gets out from the
power save mode when it detects the condition PSin
and PSout. In this mode, all channels turn off.
PSin: after the device detects that the display
data of the next frame all equal to zero, it
enters in to power save mode when the VSYNC comes.
PSout: after the device detects that there is
non-zero display data of the next frame, it gets
out from power save mode immediately.
- IREF resistor short
protection: The device automatically enters
and gets out from the IREF resistor short
protection mode when it detects the condition
ISPin and ISPout. In this mode, all channels turn
off. ISPin: the device detects that the reference
voltage is smaller than 0.195 V ISPout: the device
detects that the reference voltage is larger than
0.325 V.
- Thermal shutdown: The
device automatically enters and gets out from the
thermal shutdown mode when it detects the
condition TSDin and TSDout. In this mode, all
channels turn off. TSDin: the device detects that
the junction temperature exceeds 170°C TSDout: the
device detects that the junction temperature is
below 155°C.
