10 Power Supply Recommendations

The device is designed to operate from an automotive battery. Device should be protected from reversal voltage and voltage dump over 50 V. The resistance of the input supply rail must be low enough so that the input current transient does not cause a high drop at LP886xC-Q1 VIN pin. If the input supply is connected by using long wires, additional bulk capacitance may be required in addition to the ceramic bypass capacitors in the VIN line.
