9.2.1 Design Requirements

The supply voltage at V1 must be set to provide input thresholds for the signals A and EN. This device uses CMOS technology and has an open-drain output. Outputs of open-drain devices can be tied directly together to produce a wired-OR configuration. This device has high current drive that will create fast edges into light loads so routing and load conditions should be considered to prevent ringing.
