8.4.2 Software Control Mode

The TAS5760M can be used in Hardware Control Mode or Software Control Mode. In order to place the device in software control mode, the two gain pins (GAIN[1:0]) should be pulled HIGH. When this is done, the PBTL/SCL and FREQ/SDA pins are allocated to serve as the clock and data lines for the I²C Control Port.
