9.4.3.3 Master and Slave Mode Clocking for Digital Serial Audio Port

The digital audio serial port in the TAS5782M device can be configured to receive clocks from another device as a serial audio slave device. The slave mode of operation is described in the Clock Slave Mode with SCLK PLL to Generate Internal Clocks (3-Wire PCM) section. If no system processor is available to provide the audio clocks, the TAS5782M device can be placed into Master Mode. In master mode, the TAS5782M device provides the clocks to the other audio devices in the system.
