PRODUCTION DATA.
The output channel has a digital-volume control with a range from –100 dB to +24 dB with 0.5-dB steps. The volume control is set through I2C. The gain-ramp rate is programmable through I2C to take one step every 1, 2, 4, or 8 FSYNC cycles.
The peak output-voltage swing is also configurable in the gain control register through I2C. The four full-scale voltage settings are 7.5 V, 15 V, 21 V, and 29 V. TI recommends selecting the lowest possible for the expected PVDD operation to optimize output noise and dynamic range performance.
