9.3.9.8 Overvoltage (OV) and Load Dump

The OV protection detects high voltages on the PVDD pin. If the PVDD pin reaches the OV threshold, the FAULT pin is asserted and the I2C register is updated. The device can withstand 40 V load dump voltage spikes.
