PRODUCTION DATA
The LIN transmitter is protected by current-limiting circuit; however, if the junction temperature of the device exceeds the thermal shutdown threshold, the device puts the LIN transmitter into the recessive state and turns off the VCC regulator. The nRST pin is pulled to ground during a TSD event. Once the over-temperature fault condition has been removed and the virtual junction temperature has cooled beyond the hysteresis temperature, the transmitter is re-enabled. During this fault the device enters a TSD off mode. Once the junction temperature cools, the device enters standby mode as per the state diagram.
