(1) Operation outside the Absolute Maximum Ratings may cause permanent device damage. Absolute Maximum Ratings do not imply functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those listed under Recommended Operating Conditions. (2) Input terminals are diode-clamped to (V–) and (V+). Input signals that can swing more than 0.3 V beyond the supply rails must be current-limited to 10 mA or less.
(3) Output (OUT) for open drain can be greater than (V+) and inputs (IN+, IN–) as long as it is within the –0.3 V to 42 V range
(4) Continuous output short circuits at elevated supply voltages can result in excessive heating and exceeding the maximum allowed junction temperature, leading to eventual device destruction.
