7.3.8 Short-Circuit Protection and Automatic Recovery Feature

The TPA3139D2 features over-current conditions against the output stage short-circuit conditions. The short-circuit protection fault is reported on the SD/ FAULT pin as a low state. The amplifier outputs are switched to a Hi-Z state when the short circuit protection latch is triggered .

The device recovers automatically once the over-current condition has been removed.
