PRODUCTION DATA
To limit voltage drop or voltage transients, sufficient capacitance needs to be placed on the input side of the load switch (from VIN to GND). In most cases, a 1-μF ceramic capacitor, CIN, placed close to the pins is usually sufficient. However, when switching heavy capacitive loads, higher values of CIN may be needed to prevent the system supply voltage from dropping.
