10.2 Typical Application, Design for Current Limit

The use of theTPS2556-Q1 and TPS2557-Q1 devices is as a power switch to limit the output current. FAULT is an open drain pulled high to V(IN) with a resistor, a host can use to monitor overcurrent or thermal shutdown.
