9.3.2 A/C Power Source (Wall Adapter)

In this system design example, the PSEL pin is configured such that P(SEL) = 36 W, and 5 V, 9 V are offered at a maximum of 3 A while 15 V is offered at a maximum of 2.4 A and 20 V is offered at a maximum of 1.8A. The overcurrent protection (OCP) trip point is set just above 3 A. VDD on the TPS25740B is grounded, if there is a suitable power supply available in the system the TPS25740B operates more efficiently if it is connected to VDD since V(VPWR) > V(VDD).
