9.2.1.2.7 Step 6: Soft-Start Time
The TON_RISE command sets the time in milliseconds, from when the output starts to rise until the voltage has entered the regulation band. Charging current for the output capacitors needs to be considered when selecting the soft-start time. Based on the output capacitance and output voltage in this example, use Equation 29 to calculate the output capacitor charging current.
