7.3.4 Power Good

The Power Good (PGOOD) pin is an open-drain output. A pullup resistor of 100 kΩ is recommended to pull the voltage up to VCC. Once VFB is between 90% and 110% of the target output voltage, the PGOOD is pulled high after a 1-ms de-glitch time. The PGOOD pin is pulled low when:

  • FB pin voltage is lower than 85% or greater than 115% of the target output voltage,
  • In OVP, UVP, or thermal shutdown event, or
  • During the soft-start period.
