8.2.3.6 Bootstrap Capacitor Selection

A ceramic capacitor with a value of 0.1 μF must be connected between the BOOT and SW pins for proper operation. TI recommends using a ceramic capacitor with X5R or better grade dielectric. Use a capacitor with a voltage rating of 25 V or higher.
