8.1 Application Information

The device is a highly integrated, synchronous buck converter. This device is used to convert a higher DC input voltage to a lower DC output voltage, with a maximum output current of 2 A. Alternately, the WEBENCH® software may be used to generate a complete design. The WEBENCH software uses an iterative design procedure and accesses a comprehensive database of components when generating a design.
