8.3 Power Supply Recommendations

The TPS568215 is intended to be powered by a well regulated dc voltage. The input voltage range is 4.5 to 17 V. TPS568215 is a buck converter. The input supply voltage must be greater than the desired output voltage for proper operation. Input supply current must be appropriate for the desired output current. If the input voltage supply is located far from the TPS568215 circuit, TI recommends some additional input bulk capacitance. Typical values are 100 µF to 470 µF.
