7.3.7 Thermal Shutdown

The TPS61230A has a built-in temperature sensor which monitors the internal junction temperature, TJ. If the junction temperature exceeds the threshold (160 °C typical), the device goes into the thermal shutdown, and the high-side and low-side FETs turn off. When the junction temperature falls below the thermal shutdown falling threshold (150 °C typical), the device resumes the operation.
