8.1 Typical Application

For a detailed description about application usage, refer to the TPS65094x Design Guide and to the TPS65094x Schematic Checklist, Layout Checklist, and ILIM Calculator Tool. The TPS65094x can be used in several different applications from computing, industrial interfacing, and much more. This section describes the general application information and provides a more detailed description on the TPS65094x device that powers the Intel Apollo Lake system. The functional block diagram for the device is shown in Figure 8-1, which outlines the typical external components necessary for proper device functionality.
